Refund Policy

Summary

LetzGo's core features are free. Refund eligibility depends on the platform you used to purchase — Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web portal. User-to-user expense settlements (via Expenz) are between users and are not handled by us.

1. General Policy

Latitudes Technologies strives to ensure every user is satisfied with LetzGo. Our refund policy balances fairness to users with the practical constraints of digital goods and platform-specific rules.

  • Refund eligibility and processing is primarily governed by the platform through which you purchased (Apple App Store, Google Play, or direct web)
  • We will advocate for your refund request when contacted directly
  • Refunds for user-to-user transactions (Expenz balances) are not handled by Latitudes Technologies
  • Abuse of the refund system (repeated purchases and refunds) may result in account suspension

2. Free Features & Core App

LetzGo Core Features Are Free

Chatz, Eventz, Expenz (expense splitting), profile management, friend connections, and media sharing are provided at no charge and are not subject to refund requests.

3. Expenz — Expense Splitting Feature

Important: Expenz Does Not Process Payments

The Expenz feature is a tracking and calculation tool only. It does not process, hold, or transfer any money between users.

  • Expense balances shown in Expenz are calculated based on the data you enter
  • All actual payments (UPI, bank transfer, cash, etc.) happen directly between users outside of LetzGo
  • Latitudes Technologies is not a party to any financial transaction between users
  • We cannot process refunds for money exchanged between users for Expenz settlements
  • Disputes about expense balances must be resolved between the involved users

If you believe an expense was incorrectly recorded, you can edit or delete it within the app. Contact support@latitudes.in only if you suspect a technical error caused an incorrect calculation.

4. iOS / Apple App Store Refunds

All purchases made within the LetzGo iOS app are processed by Apple's payment system. Refunds must be requested through Apple.

How to Request a Refund (iOS)

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID
  2. Find the LetzGo purchase and click “Report a Problem”
  3. Select the reason and submit your request
  4. Apple will review and respond within 48 hours typically

Subscription Management (iOS)

Cancel iOS subscriptions via: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → LetzGo → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Android / Google Play Refunds

All purchases within the LetzGo Android app are processed by Google Play Billing. Refunds within 48 hours may be automatic.

Automatic Refund Window (Android)

Google Play offers an automatic refund within 48 hours of purchase. Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → find the purchase → Refund.

After 48 Hours

  1. Visit Google Play Order History
  2. Find the LetzGo purchase and click “Request a refund”
  3. Or contact us at support@latitudes.in with your order ID

Subscription Management (Android)

Cancel via: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LetzGo → Cancel. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Web / Direct Purchases

Premium features purchased through the LetzGo web app are processed by our payment partners (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree).

Refund Eligibility

  • Within 7 days: Full refund if you have not used the premium feature
  • 7–30 days: Prorated refund based on unused time, at our discretion
  • After 30 days: No refund, except where required by applicable law
  • Technical failure: Full refund if a paid feature was unavailable due to a verified technical issue

How to Request a Web Refund

  1. Email support@latitudes.in with subject: “Refund Request — Web”
  2. Include: registered email/phone, order/transaction ID, reason, and date of purchase
  3. We will review and respond within 3 business days
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Consumed in-app items (e.g., AI credits that have been used)
  • Partially used subscription periods when you cancel mid-cycle
  • User-to-user Expenz payments settled outside the app
  • Purchases older than 90 days (except for verified technical failures)
  • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Free features — no payment was made, so no refund applies

8. Dispute Resolution

  1. Contact Us First: Email support@latitudes.in — we aim to resolve all disputes amicably
  2. Platform Dispute (iOS): Escalate to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com
  3. Platform Dispute (Android): Escalate to Google Play support
  4. Consumer Forum (India): Disputes may be raised with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  5. Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by arbitration in Pune, India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
